Edgar Hoover’s legacy. In an age when gay men couldn’t be out, it imagines that the Director’s chasteness is indeed closeted but no less gay. All the more surprising from Eastwood!

Tommy Lee Jones is great in this movie, easily the best part of an otherwise mediocre film. Robert Wuhl’s performance really bugged me, but it was cool to see a movie about Ty Cobb anyway.
